Gabie lives in Philadelphia. Originally from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, much of their formative years were spent shucking corn. As a poet, they are most preoccupied with the poetry of place – how place is constructed, where it exists in time, and the bodies that move through it. Also sometimes? Cows.
Their first chapbook, Gritty City, can be found at Moonstone Press, or use the Contact page to get it directly from Gabie (they include stickers and a note with every order!).
Gabie has served as a reader for Painted Bride Quarterly, The Apeiron Review, and Tinderbox. They also founded and organized the Ridge Avenue Writer’s Circle from 2017-2020.
